🧄 Keto Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites

🥣 Ingredients:

  • 250g button mushrooms (cleaned & dried)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for baking or frying)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prep mushrooms
    Wash and pat mushrooms completely dry (important for crispiness).
  2. Make coating mix
    In a bowl, mix almond flour, parmesan, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and minced garlic.
  3. Beat egg
    In another bowl, beat the egg.
  4. Coat mushrooms
    • Dip each mushroom into the egg
    • Then coat well in the almond flour mixture
  5. Cook themOption 1: Bake (healthier)
    • Preheat oven to 200°C
    • Place mushrooms on a lined tray
    • Drizzle with olive oil
    • Bake 18–20 minutes until golden and crispy
    Option 2: Pan-fry (extra crispy)
    • Heat oil in a pan on medium heat
    • Fry mushrooms 3–4 minutes per side until golden

🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with garlic mayo or spicy keto dip
  • Add a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor 🍋

🔥 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd while cooking (keeps them crispy)
  • For extra crunch, double-coat (egg → flour → egg → flour)
  • Use small mushrooms for bite-sized snacks
