🍯🍋 Honey Lemon Turmeric Gummies
Prep: 10 min | Set: 1–2 hrs
Makes: ~30 small gummies
Ingredients
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)
- ¼ cup honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric (or 1 tbsp fresh grated turmeric)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (important for turmeric absorption)
- ½ cup water or unsweetened orange juice
- 3 tbsp unflavored gelatin (grass-fed if you want to be fancy)
Optional Boosts
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 drops lemon essential oil (food-grade only)
Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin:
Pour the water (or juice) into a saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the top. Let sit 5 minutes—don’t stir yet. - Warm gently:
Turn heat to low. Whisk gently until gelatin fully dissolves.
⚠️ Do not boil—heat kills gelatin. - Add flavor:
Whisk in lemon juice, honey, turmeric, black pepper, and any extras until smooth. - Pour:
Remove from heat. Pour into silicone gummy molds or a lightly greased glass dish. - Chill:
Refrigerate 1–2 hours until fully set. - Store:
Pop out gummies or cut into squares.
🧊 Storage
- Refrigerator: up to 2 weeks
- Keep chilled—they’ll soften at room temp
