🍄🧄 Delicious Garlic Mushroom & Cauliflower Skillet

🧾 Ingredients
- 2 cups mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
- 2 cups cauliflower florets (bite-size)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for umami)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
Optional add-ins:
- 2 tbsp cream or grated parmesan 🧀
- Fresh parsley or coriander for garnish
🍳 Instructions
- Pan-sear the cauliflower
Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add cauliflower, season with salt & pepper.
Cook 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.
Remove and set aside. - Sauté mushrooms
In the same pan, add remaining butter.
Add mushrooms and cook undisturbed 2–3 minutes (this gives color!).
Stir and cook until moisture evaporates and mushrooms brown. - Garlic time 🧄
Lower heat slightly. Add garlic, paprika, oregano, and soy sauce.
Stir for 30–40 seconds until fragrant. - Bring it together
Add cauliflower back to the pan.
Toss everything well.
Finish with lemon juice and adjust seasoning. - Optional creamy finish
Stir in cream or sprinkle parmesan if you want it rich. - Garnish & serve
Top with fresh herbs and enjoy hot!
