๐Ÿงพ Ingredients

  • 2 cups mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets (bite-size)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5โ€“6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • ยฝ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for umami)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme

Optional add-ins:

  • 2 tbsp cream or grated parmesan ๐Ÿง€
  • Fresh parsley or coriander for garnish

๐Ÿณ Instructions

  1. Pan-sear the cauliflower
    Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add cauliflower, season with salt & pepper.
    Cook 6โ€“8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.
    Remove and set aside.
  2. Sautรฉ mushrooms
    In the same pan, add remaining butter.
    Add mushrooms and cook undisturbed 2โ€“3 minutes (this gives color!).
    Stir and cook until moisture evaporates and mushrooms brown.
  3. Garlic time ๐Ÿง„
    Lower heat slightly. Add garlic, paprika, oregano, and soy sauce.
    Stir for 30โ€“40 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Bring it together
    Add cauliflower back to the pan.
    Toss everything well.
    Finish with lemon juice and adjust seasoning.
  5. Optional creamy finish
    Stir in cream or sprinkle parmesan if you want it rich.
  6. Garnish & serve
    Top with fresh herbs and enjoy hot!
