๐ Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour ๐พ
- 2 tablespoons sugar ๐ฌ
- 1 tablespoon baking powder ๐
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ๐ง
- 1 cup milk ๐ฅ
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (or olive oil) ๐ง

- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
Lightly grease a small loaf pan or line it with parchment paper. - Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. - Add wet ingredients
Pour in the milk and melted butter (or olive oil).
Stir until just combined. Do not overmix โ the batter will be slightly thick. - Transfer to pan
Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. - Bake
Bake for 18โ22 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & serve
Let cool for 5โ10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with butter, jam, or honey.
