🍤 Creamy Garlic Seafood (One-Pan Recipe)

🧄 Ingredients
Seafood (mix & match):
- 250 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 200 g fish fillet (salmon, cod, or tilapia), cut into chunks
- 150 g squid rings or scallops (optional)
For the sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5–6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream (or fresh cream)
- ½ cup milk (adjust for consistency)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional but amazing)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Garnish (optional):
- Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
🍳 Instructions
- Season the seafood
Lightly season shrimp and fish with salt and pepper. Set aside. - Sauté aromatics
Heat butter + olive oil in a large pan on medium heat.
Add onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn!). - Cook the seafood
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until just pink.
Add fish and squid/scallops, gently stir, cook another 2–3 minutes.
Remove seafood from pan and set aside (important so it stays tender). - Make the creamy sauce
In the same pan, lower heat and add cream + milk.
Stir well, then add parmesan, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and salt.
Simmer gently 3–5 minutes until thick and silky. - Combine everything
Add seafood back into the sauce.
Add lemon juice and gently stir.
Simmer 2 more minutes—don’t overcook. - Finish & serve
Garnish with fresh herbs. Serve hot!
