🍤 Creamy Garlic Seafood (One-Pan Recipe)

Serves: 3–4
Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 20 min

🧄 Ingredients

Seafood (mix & match):

  • 250 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 200 g fish fillet (salmon, cod, or tilapia), cut into chunks
  • 150 g squid rings or scallops (optional)

For the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5–6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or fresh cream)
  • ½ cup milk (adjust for consistency)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional but amazing)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Garnish (optional):

  • Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped

🍳 Instructions

  1. Season the seafood
Lightly season shrimp and fish with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Sauté aromatics
Heat butter + olive oil in a large pan on medium heat.
Add onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn!).
  3. Cook the seafood
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until just pink.
Add fish and squid/scallops, gently stir, cook another 2–3 minutes.
Remove seafood from pan and set aside (important so it stays tender).
  4. Make the creamy sauce
In the same pan, lower heat and add cream + milk.
Stir well, then add parmesan, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and salt.
Simmer gently 3–5 minutes until thick and silky.
  5. Combine everything
Add seafood back into the sauce.
Add lemon juice and gently stir.
    Simmer 2 more minutes—don’t overcook.
  6. Finish & serve
Garnish with fresh herbs. Serve hot!
